I am a birth protector. As your doula my role is to provide practical, emotional, physical, informative, evidence based support during your pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey. I am there for the woman/birthing person and birth partner, not the system. My role is to support you all so you have continuity of care, feel safe, nurtured and held during this beautiful life changing experience.
To walk with you, to rock with you, to bring you water, to sift your hips with my rebozo, to massage you, to do hypnobirthing with you, to cry with you, to be silent with you, to be near you, to be far from you, to hold your hand, to wait outside, to balance you, to just be with you. 🙏

Birth & postnatal Packages
1. Birth doula
£1400 includes 2 antenatal visits (where we can discuss birth planning/birth debriefs/practical coping strategies etc...), unlimited phone and email support during pregnancy, on call from 38-42 weeks 24 hours a day, a WhatsApp group for all discussions, in person support during labour and birth, and 1 postnatal visit.
2. Birth doula + Postnatal support
£1760 Includes 2 antenatal visits (where we can discuss birth planning/birth debriefs/practical coping strategies etc...), unlimited phone and email support during pregnancy, on call from 38-42 weeks 24 hours a day, a WhatsApp group for all discussions, in person support during labour and birth plus 4x 3 hour PN support sessions to be used within the first month of baby being born.
If you are planning a home birth then we will discuss all logistics and planning in advance.
These prices include all parking and fuel costs.
All fees to be paid before 34 weeks of pregnancy and a payment plan can be arranged.
•If you have any concerns re pricing but would like me as your doula please do ask for a discussion as I can be flexible for a few people a year.
* Please note these fees do not include travel outside of 5 miles. Anything over 5miles from my address is a standard 45p per mile except for hospital fees when labouring (which are included).
* Doula clients get 10% off all massages.

We had the pleasure of having Azeeta as our birth doula and she made us both feel so safe, secure and supported throughout the pregnancy, birth and postnatal period. She really was an integral part to how perfectly everything went during our birth and we will never be able to thank her enough for the kindness and support she has shown to us throughout. The massages are the best I have ever had and helped my body and mind throughout pregnancy. (The massage table with a hole for bump is incredible!) She was the best doula we could have ever imagined and dreamt of. Worth her weight in gold! Do not hesitate to contact her - it was one of the best decisions we have ever made as a family.
"For my rainbow’s birth I hired Azeeta Nielsen to be my doula (I say hired but I think by the end of my pregnancy, labour and birth, she was probably a best friend!) The role of a doula is completely undervalued. They’re there to advocate, support and advise when needed, although I must say, my wonderful doula went above and beyond to ensure I had the best birthing experience I could have.
My hypnobirthing teacher and Azeeta often liaised with each other to ensure they were both singing from the same hymn sheet when it came to my care, both in pregnancy and during labour. Both were understanding of my mental health needs, which meant my doula was often available to chat at the drop of a hat. Having that support reduced my overall anxiety, and made my birthing environment calmer. It gave me the opportunity to heal from the trauma of two previously traumatic births, and quite frankly, I think my husband and I both needed Azeeta there to reassure us and advocate for us. The fact my doula was so in tune with me, and understood my history of loss helped give me such a positive experience. Thank you! "

“Planning a home birth rather than a hospital birth for our third child was initially something that was slightly out of our comfort zone. However, as our second child came into the world very quickly it seemed logical.
We decided to have Azeeta as our doula and from the moment we met her we knew we were in safe hands. During our antenatal sessions she really took the time to listen to how I’d previously laboured and my birth preferences this time round. She really does have a wealth of knowledge in this area!
Baby number three ended up arriving much quicker than we all could’ve ever imagined. Despite the surprisingly quick labour, Azeeta remained cool, calm and collected delivering our baby in the absence of a midwife. She then worked amazingly well with the midwife and kept us informed throughout.
There are no words that can truly express my gratitude towards her and how comfortable, safe and supported she made me feel during and after my labour. What a beautiful soul! ♥️
