Mum of 3 and birth activist
Support for women and their birth partners during pregnancy, birth and beyond has always been my passion. I was drawn to the birth world in 2010 after massage training and it soon became my specialism.
My training history:
I started out as a massage therapist in January 2010. My husband and I went travelling in Thailand and found the most amazing small massage school where you had to massage 8 hours a day, eat healthy Thai food and wake and do yoga. We were sold on what massage can really do for someone’s body and mind. We came home and quickly chose what we wanted to specialise in; for me it was pre and postnatal. I went on to do pregnancy and postnatal massage and deep tissue as my specialisms and we opened up a clinic in London.
In 2014 we had our first son and the whole process of childbirth fascinated me even more. So I went to university in 2015 to train with the NCT as an antenatal teacher. I then had another two beautiful boy's .
Since then I’ve trained in hypnobirthing with the wonderful The Little Birth Company. I’ve done a new mother and baby course at the legendary @activebirthcentre. Doula training with Developing Doulas, Mindful breastfeeding practitioner training, 3 step rewind technique for birth trauma and continuing CPD.
